A couple things to note here.
•Focus
Obviously we all know we need focus on our gear for hitting mobs. I personally shoot for 220, having discussed the issue at length with a few people which include Tuskon among others. I'm not here to discuss 200 vs. 220. What you need to know when choosing gear is how much you are losing when you switch a piece of gear. A simple focus to ep ratio, see how much focus you're gaining vs. how much ep you're losing. Anyways, that's on you.
•Crit & Corporal Punishment
Corporal Punishment lasts for 5 seconds. Once you start critting more than once every 5 seconds, crit has no additional affect on your damage via this source. With a 5 second up time, you can get off 3 casts. So, once you surpass 33.3% crit you're there. This is for the most part attainable with raid buffs no matter the gear. On top of that you have the armor if you need the boost in crit, and if not you have the ability damage, which is what I would recommend. Obviously this is all theoretical, but this is the model I have used here to model crit. With my talent spec, crits hit for 1.9x.

The 5 points in Warden is well worth is. See See spec discussion threads for details.
Please do post thoughts, suggestions, additions, anything. I'll keep updating this thread as they make gear updates with 1.2, new gear drops, etc.
Enjoy!
